IWF-Certified Men's Olympic Weightlifting Barbell

The barbell shall be IWF certified.

The men's bar shall have a shaft diameter of 28 mm and shall be manufactured from special alloy steel with a minimum tensile strength of 1,500 kg and high resistance to bending and breakage.

The athlete grip areas shall feature knurling with a depth of 1.2 microns and shall be coated with nickel-chrome plating to provide protection against corrosion.

Each sleeve shall incorporate five (5) bearings on each side, together with steel washers and retaining rings (snap rings) positioned behind the bearings.

The rotating steel sleeves shall be nickel-chrome plated to provide protection against corrosion.

For loading Olympic weight plates, the bar shall be equipped with rotating steel sleeves on both ends, each measuring 445 mm in length and 50 mm in diameter.

The men's barbell shall have an overall length of 2,200 mm.

The total weight of the barbell shall be 20 kg with a tolerance of +5 g / -0 g.
