Werksan Competition Plates
Werksan Competition Plates are IWF standard, featuring a diameter of 450MM with chrome-plated steel disc reinforcements, providing a solid and stable grip thanks to the 50.40MM hole diameter. We have added several new features to this color-coded bumper series:

Minimum Bounce
The average measurement of the Competition Plates tested on the Shore A hardness scale is 94, which ensures consistent dead blow with minimal bounce commonly found in high-quality Olympic weightlifting bumpers. Less bounce reduces the time spent chasing your barbell around the gym.

New Finish and Letters
The plates feature a glossy-matte-glossy textured surface and embossed letters for a bolder appearance.

Embossed Edges
An embossed rubber surface has been added to prevent direct metal-to-metal contact between the central discs. When the plates are stacked on the bar or on the rack, the bumpers only contact each other at the inner and outer edges, reducing wear and helping to protect the surfaces and letters of the plates. The practical lip on the edge of the plate also makes it easier to lift from racks or the ground.
